(name) padded along, enjoying the feel of grass under her paws. Around her, the forest was alive with noise, celebrating spring. (name) releshed the delightfull feeling of the soft breeze in her fur. "Nya~! It feels great today!" She sat down and licked her front paw. "I love spring!"
(name) stretched and curled up. 'Maybe a nice nap will be good....'
----------------------------------------------
(name) awoke. Ears pricked, she searched for noise. There was none. "W-What is this, nya? Why is everything so quiet? Even the birds wont sing?" (name) began to feel uneasy. It couldn't be a good sign.
"GRRRRRR..."
(name's) head swiveled around. The shrub beside her shook violently. "W-Who... Who's there?!?!"
A paw stepped out. Then another, revealing the culprit. Beady eyes met (name's) (colored) ones.
'A-A fox!!!' (name) slowly backed away. The fox stepped forward, growling. (name) shook in fear. 'I should've known! Foxes are awake now, too!! I should have been more careful!' Spinning around, (name) launched into the forest. The fox darted after her.
(Name) ran for what seemed like miles. Over tree roots, under shrubs, and she even jumped a stream in an attempt to get rid of her follower. The fox didn't even flinch. He easily manuvered around the obsticles and was gaining ground, FAST. (name) looked back, eyes wide. Suddenly, the ground disappeared from under her feet. (name) found herself barreling straight into a ravine. The fox skidded to a stop.
(name) sat up. She was at the bottom of the ravine, and the fox was staring right at her. She shivered and tried to get up, but a searing pain in her leg forced her back down. "NYA!?!" (name) let out a surprised mew. The fox paced back and forth, deciding wether or not to come down. Sending (name) one last glare, The fox vanished, leaving (name) alone and wounded.
(name) tried to get up again, but failed. "I must've sprained something..." (name) looked around. The was no one in sight. (name) laid down in defeat. "It's no use, nya..."
"hee hee!"
(name) heard what sounded like giggling. lokking up, she saw a strange creature. It looked like a tiny human, but it had wings. "H-hey!" (name) called to it. "C-Can you help me!?!"
The little creature tilted its head to the side. Turning around, it flew off. "Wait!" (name) yelled. Sighing, she put her head down. 'I'll never get out of this...'
----------------------------------------
"Hey, are you alright?"
(name) opened her eyes. In front of her sat another cat, with the strange, flying creature sitting on his head.
"W-Who are you?" (name) cocked her head to the side. He had deep green eyes and he wore a red collar.
"I am called England. My fairie friend saw you fall and came to get me. Are you hurt?" England asked.
"I-it's my paw... i think it's sprained." (name) said weakly. Nodding, England inspected her injured paw. "It's sprained alright....but i can fix it." He drew a small circle and began to chant.
"What are you-?!" (name) wathed wide-eyed ad the circle began to glow a bright green. The pain in her paw slowly began to ebb away. England stopped chanting, and the light went away. (name) sat up. "Wow!! It's as good as new!" She hopped around excitedly. "Thank you!"
England smiled. "You are welcome. Miss, may I ask what your name is?"
'Such a gentleman!' (name) thought. " I am (name)! Thank you, Iggy!"
"Iggy?"
"Yeah! That's my nickname for you! It's shorter than England!"
"Ahh... I see..." Iggy looked at the sky. "It is getting late.... I'll walk you home."
"Wow! Thank you!" The two walked off, the farie close behind.
